I never understood the appeal of sports anime, until it was pointed out to me that in this case, tennis racquet = sword. Somehow that makes it all better.

FMA is one of those shows that breaks you into pieces and turns you inside out, and makes you glad for the experience.
And it is ripe for character analysis and the occasional bit of smut.
